The Los Alamos County Community Services Department (CSD) is seeking community input to develop an Integrated Community Services Master Plan.
Interested members of the public can provide feedback at 6 p.m. Thursday, February 3 during a virtual focus group using this Zoom link with access code: 0203.
CSD hired a professional consulting service to assist in the development of an integrated community services master plan. This plan aims to identify and assess existing programs, services, facilities and gaps.
In addition, it will examine future needs and incorporate these results into an action plan among the critical areas of parks, cultural services, social services, recreation, open spaces, trails and libraries. The desire is to produce a 7-10 year roadmap to systematically invest, improve programs and services, establish best practices and prioritize community needs to continuously improve the department, divisions and quality of life in our community.
Previous focus group meetings and videos are listed on the Community service project page. The next breakout group on Thursday will recap discussions from previous meetings and allow for additional feedback on the plan and process.
