With a new interactive map, you can now find all community resources in one place. Resources range from childcare to veterans services, food and clothing needs, health care, and many other social services.
The map was launched through a coordinated effort between STEP and the Region 7 Early Learning Resource Center (ELRC), which serves families seeking childcare and childcare providers. child care in Lycoming, Clinton and Tioga counties.
The map was produced with technical support from the GIS Division of the Lycoming County Community Planning and Development Department. ELRC staff and partners have worked to compile and maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date list of service providers and their contact details.
“We hope this map will be used by both parents and providers to connect individuals to the services they need,” said Melissa Kerschner, director of the ELRC.
The ELRC is part of STEP’s Early Learning Pathway to Success program. The map can be viewed at www.stepcorp.org/map.
